Dr Diana Paun

Presidential Advisor, Public Health Department, Romania

Diana Loreta Paun serves as a Presidential Advisor in the Public Health Department.
She joined the Health Department of Presidential Administration in June 2015.
Prior to joining the Presidential Administration, Ms. Păun served as Manager of the National Institute of Endocrinology “C.I. Parhon” in Bucharest, Romania. In that capacity, she was responsible for managerial activity of the Institute. Before that, she worked as an endocrinologist for the National Institute of Endocrinology “C.I. Parhon” for medical services.

Dr. Diana Loreta Paun is a graduate of the Faculty of Medicine and Doctor in Medicine with the "Carol Davila" University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Bucharest. She holds a certificate of complementary studies in Health Services Management and has graduated the master’s program "Management of Public Health and Health Services". He also attended several management improvement programs in the field of audit, training and public procurement.

Dr. Diana Loreta Păun is a member of several national professional associations: Association of Clinical Endocrinology of Romania, Romanian Society of Endocrinology, and international: German Endocrinology Society, European Society of Endocrinology (ESE). She is also a member of the Romanian Association of AACE Of Clinical Endocrinologists and served as its chairperson during 2011-2012.
